The photo above shows a close-up of the tight raceme of garden burnet as seen at the eastern end of Kreps Lane in Conboy Lake National Wildlife Refuge.......June 9, 2007. Note the long filaments (10 stamens) and the male flowers found at the base of of the raceme, with female flowers above.

1. Kreps Lane at Conboy Lake NWR at the southeastern corner of Mt. Adams.

2. Young's Wetlands (Columbia Land Trust property east of Glenwood, WA.
