Hosta gold edger is a vigorous perennial that rising to 8 inches at maturity and spread to 12 inches and form a mound compact plant. Chartreuse leaves are large, heart-shaped, glossy and slightly corrugated. Very floriferous and of good substance. This outstanding cultivar produces bell-shaped, lavender flowers on 14 " scapes in mid summer. Its charming beauty attracts hummingbirds. It intensifies morning sun but grows best in full shaded areas. It requires rich soil, moist but well-drained. Hosta gold edger is an excellent selection for borders.
