Heuchera 'Plum Royale' PP20935 COPF

Common Name: Coral Bells

This improved cultivar is the first Heuchera to be able to maintain consistently plum purple colored foliage with a polished luster all summer long.  A good amount of sunshine is required to bring out the purple pigments, so if it is planted in heavier shade the foliage will develop a pewter overlay.

Dark stems carry wands of pale pinkish white flowers in early summer.  This cultivar exhibits good vigor, forming a compact mound of large leaves measuring up to 4” across.

Coral bells are easy to grow and blend easily with most other perennials in the landscape. Because of their low, mounding habit, they are often used as edging along paths or in containers. Try cutting a few of the tall flower scapes for fresh bouquets.
