I tried to grow various forms of I. ensata in the past, but somehow was never successful. Finally, some year ago I bought a plant labeled 'Freckled Geisha'. I wasn't so sure it was identified correctly, because my plant was more streaked than speckled, but in further research it looks like it might really be the Geisha. In any case, I'm not complaining – although I wish it would produce more than one flower per season! By the way, this plant is like a living calendar – in the three years where I recorded its first day of bloom, the date was either June 23rd or 24th, despite rather different weather conditions during the springs of those years.
