Clematis 'Blue Angel' (syn'Blekitny Aniol')

Clematis 'Blue Angel' or 'Blekitny Aniol' in its native Polish! it has lovely light blue flowers from July to September. They are very textured and stand up well to our weather! Can be planted in any aspect and hard pruned in spring, a good grower it will reach 3M but it is also very good in pots. This was introduced as a C. viticella cultivar and although we maintain it in our collection I would expect it will eventually find a home elsewhere, its seed heads and leaves are more like C. jackmanii. Raised by Brother Stefan Franczak of Poland in 1990.
