Winner of the Chelsea Flower Show Plant of the Year Award 2015, Viburnum plicatum f. tomentosum Kilimanjaro is a new and hardy award winning shrub. It produces an abundance of pure white flowers in attractive clusters from early summer, followed by pink-red berries in late summer to early autumn. The foliage and flowers grow in layers on tiered branches, resembling a snow covered mountain (true to its namesake!) In autumn, the foliage turns shades of burnt orange and gold, and in winter the berries will provide a valuable source of food for winter birds. An elegant addition to the border and patio containers. Eventual height 3m.
