This 1971 Ford Mustang Mach 1 was built at Ford’s Dearborn, Michigan, assembly plant on September 18, 1970, and was initially delivered to John Bearce Ford of Washington, Illinois. It is finished in Light Pewter Metallic over black and powered by a 429ci Super Cobra Jet V8 paired with a four-speed close-ratio manual transmission and a 3.91:1 Traction-Lok differential. Features include the Drag Pack option, power steering, power front disc brakes, black Mach 1 graphics, dual hood scoops, and a push-button AM radio. The car was acquired by the owner in 2018 and subsequent work consisted of an engine tune-up, replacing the fan belts, and installing a period-correct carburetor and fuel filter as well as an oil change. This Mustang Mach 1 is offered by the seller on behalf of the owner with a reproduction window sticker, Deluxe Marti Report, reproduction dealer invoice, manufacturer’s literature, reproduction bill of sale, and a clean Nevada title.

The two-spoke steering wheel frames a 120-mph speedometer, tachometer, and fuel level gauge. A trio of auxiliary gauges is mounted in the center stack.
