To left a male dancer in 17th century Dutch dress holding castanets, the left arm raised and curved, the right outstretched, the right leg crossing before the left, wearing long coat with sash and deep frill collar, trunks and feathered hat; to the right a male dancer holding a triangle with rings, supported on the right foot, the left raised in front, wearing near Eastern dress with long robe, long coat with fur trim and turban. Beneath left hand figure: "Mirn Castagnetten zyn met mynen Dans gepaard, / 'k Sla zelf de maat op al myn Paszen; en myn Sprongen / Zyn om hun aardigheid tien koningryken waard, Want elke is even los, en vry, en onbedwongen." Beneath right hand figure: "ô Grote Mahometh! Ftrek tot getuigenis / Hoe ver deez'Spaanfe fpek voor myne kunst moet wyken; / Hoe groot de Heerfchappy van onzen Sultan is / Neg ruilde ik myn roem geenzints voor al zyn ryken." Engraving.
