Calamagrostis Brachytricha commonly known as Korean Feather Reed Grass is bushy, clump forming grass perennial plant with long linear, glossy green leaves which turn a wonderfully bright yellow in autumn time. In the months from June to August the Calamagrostis Brachytricha will bloom tall erect stems with lovely purple, fluffy plumes of flowers turning yellow, oat coloured in autumn months which look good moving in the wind. Can be planted in a variety of locations including banks and slopes, flower beds and borders and can also be grown in containers creating a fantastic colour!

Plant the Calamagrostis Brachytricha in a sunny, partially shaded area of the garden with moist, well drained soils where it will thrive. Generally pest free and some pruning does make this grass a good plant for gardeners of all abilities. Simply cut back any old, dead or damaged growth in spring before new growth resumes for the season.
