Lonicera Japonica Halliana, commonly known as Hall’s Japanese Honeysuckle is an evergreen, climber plant. With leaves oval shaped and dark green in colour, and in the months of April all the way through until August the Lonicera Japonica Halliana has long white flowers, turning a wonderful yellow colour shortly after, giving these a two tone appearance and known to be highly fragrant.
Often planted in a range of garden types, planting schemes and locations where it will look fantastic. Wall side border where it can climb, or planted next to a pergola or garden arch where it will climb to create a foliage heavy plant.
Lonicera Japonica Halliana care
The Lonicera Japonica Halliana will thrive in a sunny, partially shaded area of the garden in moist, well drained soils. Young plants can be cut down by about two thirds in spring to encourage a bushy, strong growth. Once established and to prevent too much congestion you can cut stems back in early spring again which will maintain a manageable amount of garden plants.
