Osmanthus Hetrophyllus Variegatus commonly known as Variegated Holly Olive is a slow growing, bushy evergreen shrub which has spiny edged green, ovate shaped leaves which have bold margins with creamy white colouring. In September to October the Osmanthus Hetrophyllus Variegatus blooms small white flowers wonderfully fragrant closely followed by black fruits.
Suitable for a variety of planting locations, garden types and planting schemes. If planted in groups or a row it will form a lovely hedging and screening plant which is highly desirable.

Plant the Osmanthus Hetrophyllus Variegatus in a sunny, partially shaded area of the garden with moist, well drained soils where it will thrive. A good choice for gardeners of all abilities as the Osmanthus is generally disease and pest free and requiring minimal pruning. In spring simply remove any dead or damaged branches to encourage a more healthy, bushy growth.
