Perennial from a simple rootstock, often with bulblets among roots. Stems usually solitary, scapose, erect, 3–30 cm, glandular-hairy. Leaves all basal, petiolate; the blade broadly elliptic to ovate, 1–6 cm long, dentate. Inflorescence glandular, paniculate (sometimes congested); the flowers clustered at the branch tips.
