 ==========================================================================================

The "DHC 515" for Xplane 11 and 12   were inspired by the 415 bomber models of Cristiano Maggi, Sergio Santagada and Massimo Durando. Thanks to them.

Not all functions are present in the DHC 515 for XPlane. These are basic versions that will evolve with the help of enthusiasts.

 Many thanks to:

-   “Danhopgood1”  for his sound creations with  Fmod for the 515.

-   Roland (Ypsos) for his navigation tutorial and advices layout.  For much more technicals informations on the DHC 515 on mission, you go on its website:

NOTE:  Known bugs on Xplane 12 version 12.04b3 :

"On the water" the DHC has no anchor to stop.

The colors of the water and retardants dropped are far too dark in XP12.

Not all outdoor "lights" are displayed "during the day".

To be continued …..

A suivre …

Thank you very much. It is fantastic! I was missing this airplane since XP9 if I remember well.

I could be of help concerning the external lighting in XP12. What is the best way to communicate with you privately?

Man I definitely liked this addon, it looks good and sounds good! I hope you guys improve the project more about cockpit clickable areas, I've seen lots of INOP buttons. If it gets improved, I can say this is the best seaplane available for X-Plane!
