A handsome member of the Loosestrife family and much better behaved than his cousins in the wild. Strong, square stems are packed with blooms throughout summer and well into the autumn. Attractive to birds and bees. Happy in boggy ground so excellent for waterside planting. Prefers moist soil in sun or part shade. Height 80-100cm (32-40). Spread 50cm (20). Fully hardy perennial.
