The plants in our window boxes and plant pots at the front of our house lost their vigour, quite possibly because of a neglectful owner.

Anyway, in the last few days, I’ve replanted the window boxes and plant pots. The window boxes now contain Cyclamen and a trailing ivy, while the plant pots contain a Skimmia japonica ‘Wanto’. This Skimmia is a newish variety, being low growing is ideal for a planting in a pot.

I should like ideas, dear readers, as to what I should under plant the Skimmia’s with, as there’s room which you can see in the photo. Click on photo to expand.
