2020-21: Coming off a breakout 2019-20 season in which he emerged as one of the top point guards in the Big South...provides value on both ends of the floor as a versatile scorer and distributor, as well as a craft defender with a nose for the ball...has recovered from back-to-back season-ending injuries suffered in his first two seasons of college basketball…has deep shooting range and the ability to penetrate to the lane…earned his bachelor's degree in business administration from Longwood in the spring of 2020 and is currently pursuing his master's of business administration.
 
2019-20: Broke out in his second full season on the court, finishing the year a Longwood’s leading scorer at 10.8 points per game…averaged 13.7 points per game in Big South play…scored in double figures in 13 of his final 17 games with two 20-point outbursts during that span…led the team with 43 steals, 51 made three-pointers and 70 made free throws… hit at least one three-pointer 26 of his 29 games…hit a trey in his final 18 games…shot .357 (51-of-143) from three-point range and .787 (70-of-89) from the free throw line…also ranked second on the team with 87 assists, 57 of which led to three-pointers…ranked tied for fourth in the Big South with 1.5 steals per game, eighth with a 1.4 assist-to-turnover ratio (87/61) and 10th with 3.0 assists per game…had a steal in 16 consecutive games from Nov. 29 to Feb. 6, during which he averaged 2.3 steals per game…started 12 of his final 14 games after playing 12 of his first 15 off the bench…scored in double figures a team-high 16 times…swiped at least three steals a team-high six times…led Longwood in scoring eight times and in assists 13 times, both second on the team…scored a career-high 27 points in a 72-62 win at High Point, hitting 5-of-9 three-pointers, finishing a perfect 12-of-12 from the free throw line and stuffing the stat sheet with five rebounds, three assists, two steals and a block (Jan. 25)…hit the 20-point plateau again against Winthrop, scoring 24 of 8-of-14 shooting with four treys.

2018-19: Played a reserve role as a redshirt freshman last season while working his way back from injury...appeared in 28 games while averaging 14.4 minutes, 5.8 points and 1.1 assists per game…led the team with a .432 (38-of-88) three-point percentage…also posted a .852 (23-of-27) free throw percentage, the second-best clip on the team…scored in double figures seven times, including a career-high 15 points at DePaul in the quarterfinals of the CBI (March 25)…hit 4-of-5 three-pointers and added three assists and five rebounds in that game against the Blue Demons…improved as the season progressed and finished the year with a 10-game stretch that saw him average 8.4 points, 1.5 assists and 19.1 minutes per game…played at least 20 minutes in each of his final four games.

2017-18: Missed the season after suffering a season-ending injury in the preseason.
 
2016-17: Missed his first season at Longwood after suffering a torn ACL in the preseason.
 
High School: Four-year letterwinner and starter at Panther Creek...averaged 21.0 points and 5.0 assists per game as a senior...ranked as the No. 6 point guard in North Carolina and a top-100 point guard in the nation by ESPN.com...enjoyed a decorated prep career in which he broke the school record with 1,704 career points...a four-time all-conference selection...earned all-district honors three times and all-metro honors three times...as a junior, averaged 20.3 points and 5.3 assists per game...played AAU basketball with former Longwood teammate and fellow 2017 signee JaShaun Smith on the Garner Road AAU squad...posted a 3.9 grade point average.

Personal: Born Juan-Andres Munoz on Feb. 12, 1998...son of Alberto Munoz and Aimee Castro...has a brother, Berto...brother played basketball at Holy Family University.
