Description Fine Print

Packera obovata, commonly called round-leaved ragwort, is a vigorous spring wildflower for the sunny or shady garden. Late spring sees masses of tiny bright yellow flowers appearing on long flowering stems which can be removed after flowering. The lush semi-evergreen basal foliage serves as an attractive ground cover. Effective in wild, cottage and native plant gardens, in borders and along streams or ponds. Self seeds gently and naturalizes. Native to eastern North America. Evergreen on the west coast. Herbaceous in colder regions. Pollinator attractor.
