Justin Bobby speaks out on Audrina’s divorce

A blast from Audrina Patridge‘s past is speaking out following her shocking split from husband Corey Bohan.

“My first reaction is the thought of the child, obviously,” Patridge’s former flame, Justin Bobby Brescia, told E! News. “Me, coming from a separated family at a young age, it had its perks and it had its hindrances. My second thought is if she’s OK, because she’s been a longtime friend. My thoughts and my heart go out to her and her little one at this time.”

Patridge, 32, dated Brescia on-and-off throughout the years on “The Hills.” The MTV reality series, which ran from 2006 to 2010, also documented Patridge’s blossoming romance with Australian BMX star Bohan, 35.

After welcoming daughter Kirra Max in June 2016, the couple wed in Hawaii that November. Patridge filed for divorce on Wednesday after an alleged domestic violence incident. She was also granted a temporary restraining order against Bohan.

“Audrina’s No. 1 concern is for her daughter and she asks for privacy at this time,” Patridge’s rep stated.

Brescia added he’s grateful his former flame has her family to lean on during this difficult time.

“I don’t feel good about it. The baby is so cute and beautiful. Thank God Audrina has such a strong foundation with her family,” he said. “They just reap family values to the highest degree, is what I’ve learned over the years.”

In court documents obtained by E!, Patridge alleged Bohan had become “increasingly possessive, angry, agitated and jealous” of her travel schedule. She also claimed her spouse of 10 months had become “physically violent” in the last month.

Despite the trying road ahead, Brescia believes Patridge will emerge resiliently.

“She will be fine and the baby will be fine.”
