Uma Thurman has a new man.
The actress is dating Bloomberg Media Group CEO Justin B. Smith.
The juicy news was buried in a New York Times article “Washington Society Steps Back Out,” which reports on a bash at Smith’s home in the Kalorama neighborhood of Washington D.C.
After listing guests from the media elite including the Atlantic’s Jeffrey Goldberg, Washington Post columnist Jonathan Capehart, Axios’ Jonathan Swan, and CNN’s Abby Phillip, the piece mentions that among the throng was “Pulp Fiction” star, before casually adding, “who is dating Mr. Smith.”
“I’m a news lover,” Thurman says in the piece.
Thurman — who has previously been married to Ethan Hawke and Gary Oldman, and had a long term relationship with French financier Arpad Busson — had most recently been romanced by architect Peter Sabbeth while he was quarantining with her family in the Hamptons last October. Thurman has also been linked to under-fire Chateau Marmont hotelier André Balazs.
Thurman has spoken about being solo in her later years.
She said in 2005 after playing a single woman in the film “Prime,” “I know what it’s like to wake up a decade later and be single again and alone again, and thinking you had a plan and the plan got derailed.”
Smith has previously been named one of the “35 Most Powerful People in New York Media.” He was the former president of Atlantic Media and founded Breaking Media whose websites include Fashionista and Above the Law. A graduate of Georgetown University, he is also on the board of the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric Aids Foundation.
