Previously shown in an electric yellow-green earlier this year at Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este on Lake Como, the BMW 3.0 CSL Hommage R is a tribute to the winning 3.0 CSL racecar of the 1970s in classic BMW Motorsports livery. “This is how we always intended the car to be,” says Karim Habib, head of BMW design.
