The rose garden is located directly next to the Munot. The garden covers an area of around 2000 square metres and about 170 rose species. It contains the most important rose varieties of all groups.

As early as the end of the 1940s, there were plans to create a rose garden at the back of the Munot promenade. In 1976, the municipal gardening department took up the idea again and in the following years the project was implemented.
