Scented lavender-purple-pink flowers with lighter centres. A shorter, more compact paniculata phlox which doesn't require staking.
Very attractive to bees and butterflies.
Flowers from July right though summer and sometimes into October.
Makes a good sized clump.

Phlox paniculata is the Border Phlox, brought from North America in 1732. A very traditional garden plant and easy to grow. Large flower domes can be very fragrant and are indispensable for late season colour and height in the border.
