DAILY CALENDAR CHALLENGE #018 – JANUARY 18
One problem with today’s origami challenge … if I had been the editor of the Origami Calendar I would have made sure that the title of today’s calendar be changed to ZEBRA HEAD instead of HORSE HEAD.
I’ll bet you the guy who came up with this puzzle was fixated with playing the Beatles’ recordings backwards looking for hidden messages. Easy-peasy puzzle … Bach, Schumann and Scarlatti. Didn’t even need the birth years.
And to prove that I haven’t let puzzle calendars take over my world …
I found this poor little plant on sale at my stupidmarket. Hopefully, I’ll be able to produce a new flower head. It’s a member of the Primula family (primrose and/or cowslips) that are early spring perennials. Hopefully they can be grown indoors during the winter. Now I have to come up with a name for my little plant.

The horse/zebra head is stylin’! The little plant is cute, too.
Huzzah! The little plant now has a name Q2!
Love the horse/zebra head. My grandson is intrigued with your calendar. Can you tell me where I might pick one up for him? Thanks.
Your local Barnes and Noble might still have one. It’s the Workman Page-A-Day Origami Calendar. If not you can order one through Amazon (discounted) … http://www.amazon.com/Origami-Page-A-Day-Calendar-Games-Calendr/dp/0761167420/ref=sr_1_10?ie=UTF8&qid=1358615027&sr=8-10&keywords=calendars+2013+page+a+day
