Caryopteris incana - Blue Mist Spirea

Leaves - Ovate to ovate oblong, 3 inches long, grayish tomentose color beneath.

Flowers - Violet-blue in dense cymes in August-September.

(Not really a spirea but related to mint family. Plant can die back and be treated as a perennial).
