7. This Was Adrian Pasdar's Film Debut
Top Gun is renowned for starring several pre-fame actors including Tom Cruise, Val Kilmer, and Meg Ryan. However, many people don't realise Adrian Pasdar made his acting debut in Top Gun when he was only 20 years old. Long before he starred in Heroes, Supergirl, or Agents of SHIELD, Pasdar portrayed Lieutenant Charles "Chipper" Piper in this film.
Even if you're a huge fan of Pasdar, you most certainly didn't recognise him since he looks so different. (He resembles a hybrid of Tom Cruise and Tobey Maguire.) But if you love Pasdar's work, you should appreciate him more, knowing he debuted in one of the most iconic blockbusters ever.
