The oval leaves of Berberis Ottawensis "Superba" are red and purple and colour dramatically in autumn. In spring, there are many yellow flowers with red calyx leaves, and in autumn small red fruits follow red fruits. This Berber is used in hedge, topiary or solitary, is also very breathable and can be used with some protection as a coastal plant. Grows well in all types of soils, unless it is too limestone, moist soils, but also a good part of drought.
