Euphorbia characias 'Forescate' or wolf milk is an ascending and pollinated winter perennial with attractive grey-green leaves and richly yellow-green flowers, charthusian in spring. This wolf milk loves a place in full sun and is preferably found in limestone soil, but also tolerates neutral to slightly acidic soil. Euphorbia characias is moderate to quite hardy, can cope with some drought, sea wind and salt is tolerant and tolerates air pollution. In general, few diseases or pests, sometimes botryte can occur, and aphids can spoil the plant.
