Directions

Roll onto fingernails and the surrounding skin. Allow to air dry for 15 seconds. Avoid contact with mouth and eyes until completely dry. Apply as needed. Discontinue use if irritation or rash appears. If you find that the applicator ball is dry, we recommend shaking the product gently (with the lid on) and rolling the applicator on a damp paper towel a few times.

This product definitely works, the problem is that it's too extreme, it punishes you at any time not just when you put your fingers in your mouth.Where do I even start? First of all, if you apply this product on your fingers you need to wear a facemask or cover your mouth and nose with your shirt while applying it, since the chemicals don't smell you won't feel that you're practically inhaling the chemicals, and your entire mouth will get the worst bitter taste ever, it's so bad that even your saliva will be bitter, when you lick your lips you will feel the bitterness of the product just as if you were biting your nails or putting your finger in your mouth! So don't kiss anyone after applying this!If you don't cover your mouth or nose you will almost immediately taste the product when applying it since you're inhaling it without knowing. But even if you do, you will still feel your mouth and lips bitter within an hour or less (even if you don't touch anywhere near your mouth).At first I thought it was a wound, and the chemicals somehow went into my bloodstream but I've tried everything, the product is simply too strong and it gets into your taste buds and it's absolutely disgusting.Not to mention that you can't really touch your food or it will be bitter as you can imagine but no way to get around that just use gloves while eating and you'll be fineThe product is also wash resistant somehow so if you use it you will definitely last at least an entire day.If you do buy this product be prepared to experience bitter taste even if you behave and are not putting your fingers anywhere near your mouth or lips, anyways IT DOES WORK and you will definitely stop that ugly habit, take a look at my nails before and after in just 4 days of usage.I will update my review later on to show you my results :)

Listen, we have been attempting to prevent our child from sucking his thumb, and like most parents, there is genuine concern that it’s going to cause issues for him later in life along with the plethora of viruses he contracts now with being a thumb sucker. With that being said, I purchased the Biter Be Goner. It look innocuous enough, and the concept is easy. Roll on fingers and let it dry, then BAM, instant consequence for thumb in the mouth. I received this product today, and figured that my sister and I would play guinea pig to ensure that the product worked and was not harmful. What a terrible idea. We placed some on our thumbs and just took a small bit to test it, and the results were both amazing and terrible. Did you know that a grown woman can chug a quarter gallon of milk in seconds? Neither did I. Thinking to go for remedies that remove spicy flavors? Think again bud. It’s not gonna do a damn thing. Ketchup, tea, and water all seem to enhance the flavor. After repeatedly attempting to eradicate the bitter taste in our mouths, we found that mouth wash has the best results. To take the edge off. I’ll be over here enjoying my tea with a sliver donkey fart for the foreseeable future. 10/10, definitely not putting anything with that on it in my mouth again but I’m not giving to the child.

I started biting my nails at 14 - I'm 33. I go through phases when I lean in to biting for anxiety that last about a month or two (not great, but everything in moderation right?!) and the MOMENT I get over it I order a new one of these. It stops my biting IMMEDIATELY. It's an amazing reminder.
Be weary though, don't chop veggies or cook with your bare hands after using this as it can affect the taste of food. It's not bad for you if you ingest, but it just tastes like garbage.
I'm forever loyal to this brand and highly recommend to my friends for it's convenience, ease of use and the fact that it actually works wonders.

My son was a constant thumb sucker all day and all night. I put this on from his knuckle down (in case he ate finger foods) and when he put his thumb in his mouth he said “that’s icky” and so was conscious of putting his thumb back in. It does leave a gross after taste and lasts awhile so you don’t have to keep reapplying. I thought nap and bed time would be hard, but it wasn’t. I even gave this to 2 other moms who have big thumb suckers as well and it worked for them in a day or 2!

I'm 27 and have been battling with nail biting all my life.
I've tried 2 products around age 16 but found I'd still bit the nail so long as my tongue didn't make contact.
Another earlier last year that was more of a very bitter nail polish. It was okay, except annoying to apply, it left the nail sticky and would sometimes get bits of fabric sticking to it and eventually over a few months, I found the bottle dried out.

I can say that with product, my nails are the longest/healthiest they've ever been. Its simple to apply, has an awful taste (a good thing), has no scent and finger tips/nails feel completely ordinary once applied and dried.
Only negative is trying to apply it afterward preparing food for others, which is an issue with every product of this kind.

10/10 - This is the product that works!!

We got this to stop my todder from sucking his thumb. Let me tell you, the first time he got some in his mouth he WAILED. I ended up getting a bit on my lip and I was ready to cry! Now that he knows how gross it is, we put a dab on his thumb and then wrap it in a band aid. The memory of how gross it is is enough for him to not take the band aids off like he used to. Super effective. But be warned. When they cry or tell you the taste is lingering.. it is. Hummus and crackers are a good snack to help get the taste out. Just saying.
