I paid around $47.50 inclusive of shipping for the eighteen 3.5" pots, in July 2019.
I sampled two different pots and counted how many pips are in each. Both had 21 pips. I also separated two of the more sparse pots into pips and got 17 & 20 each. So about 17-20 pips each pot for 18 pots would be around 300-340 pips. I separated them all out into a pip with at least two roots and got 321 pips. It took two hours. Buying these is much cheaper than buying individual pips because there is labor involved in pulling them apart. That is if you don't count your own labor.

I have used the dwarf mondo grass for a couple of years in shaded areas of my backyard where hardly anything will grow to control erosion. The plants filled in nicely and are doing their job. Since rain storms have gotten more severe in my area I am adding more of these plantings.
I recommend these plants and will definitely buy more plants from this seller in the spring.
