Deschampsia cespitosa ‘Golden Dew’
£16.50 incl. VAT
An airy, fluffy evergreen grass. Silvery gold flower spikes that start in July and last well into autumn. It can grow to 2ft by 2ft.
Hardiness level Green
Full sun or partial shade so would work well in a bit of a shady border. It is fairly fast growing and quite compact. It would look good spot-planted among perennials.
Remove the faded flower heads in late winter before new growth appears. If the foliage looks tatty then this can be cut back hard too. In warmer areas this grass will self seed freely.
Propagated by division.
