Achillea Millefolium - Colorado seed

Achillea Millefolium Colorado. Also known as Colorado Yarrow, this is an herbaceous plant that will bloom all summer long on its thin spine-like leaves. The perennial flowers produce flat topped or slightly rounded flower heads with dense multitudes of daisy-like flowers that can bloom intermittently into the fall. The colors include white, beige, rust, rose, deep red, apricot, and yellow with the possibility of more than one color showing up in a pot. Unlike numerous other flower species, this plant doesn't mind being moved multiple times to produce a wonderful ground cover. You can achieve this by cutting way back after flowering or inhibit flowering. Colorado is an edible flower and is an excellent choice for an edible flower herb garden. (you can google the uses and various ways to prepare the flower as there are many). They are also highly desired by beneficial insects that makes them a top pick for wildlife herb gardens. Great choice for fresh flowers. They will last 3-5 days in a vase. The foliage that resembles a fern is also highly used for ornamentals due to the colors not fading when dried. Commonly used for dried flowers, edible flowers, ornamental flowers, ground cover and in herb gardens.

I urge anyone buying seed to do their homework on germination, I have not raised and cannot raise many of these plants as I am sub-tropics here in St Augustine,Florida. All seed are NOT alike!  There are so many different factors in germination and not doing a search is throwing your money away. I want everyone to be successful when growing your flowers from seed it is the most rewarding experience in Gardening and you can do it, if you give the seed what it needs to grow. I always check 3 sites of info to choose how I will go about it. It is not hard to do, if you do it right!

SEED GERMINATION TIP!!!!!!!

ONLY GERMINATE A SMALL PORTION AT A TIME.

DON'T PUT ALL YOUR MONKEYS IN A BARREL.

Good Luck and Happy Planting!!!!
