Veronicastrum virginicum'Diane' is a tall, erect, herbaceous perennial with whorls of lance-shaped, pointed, toothed, dark green leaves and slender, dense, terminal racemes of tubular, white flowers from midsummer into early autumn.
 
Remove faded flower spikes.
 
Plant in full sun or partial shade in moist, moderately fertile soil, enriched with organic matter. Water thoroughly in dry weather.
