Sedum lydium -Common Name: stonecrop.
Zones 3 to 9.
Full sun.
Plants reach 2 inches tall and 8 to 12 inches wide;
creeping rhizome groundcover habit; semi-evergreen.
Growth rate: fast.
Sedum lydium develops into a very low carpet of small bright green foliage tufts with sporadic dense clusters of tiny white flowers in summer. Flower's white carpel changes to red, and appear pink. Planted in full sun or in drought, leaves turn copper-red then bronzes in fall.
