Overview

Award winning, weeping evergreen tree.

Description
Receiving the Royal Horticultural Society's Award of Garden Merit in 1993, 'Coral Beauty' is a low growing, decorative ground cover shrub, and is the perfect solution for covering awkward areas and also for supressing weeds. Its foliage is dense dark green and glossy, and come spring, is dotted with small, creamy white flowers which later develop into orange-red berries, which turn to a reddish brown in winter. The berries remain throughout winter attracting birds to your garden.

Planting Position
Best planted in full sun or partial shade, Coral Beauty will thrive best in fertile soils but will tolerate any soil as long as it's well-drained.

Attributes
This dense, mound-forming, evergreen shrub with arching branches, small, glossy dark green leaves, white to pale pink flowers in early summer and bright orange-red berries, will bring any dull, awkward patch to life.
