Josh Homme, Bill Burr, Dave Grohl and more join forces for a one-night-only benefit concert

Josh Homme, frontman and founding member of Queens of the Stone Age, is hosting a star-studded show for a good cause.

The Josh Homme & Friends event at The Belasco in Los Angeles on Wednesday, March 20 will feature performances by Beck, Foo Fighters’ Dave Grohl, Arctic Monkeys’ Matt Helders, Eagles of Death Metal’s Jesse Hughes and Homme’s Queens of the Stone Age compatriots Troy Van Leeuwen and Michael Shuman.

The night will also include comedians Sarah Silverman and Bill Burr, Red Hot Chili Peppers’ Chad Smith, St. Vincent, The Kills, Tyler Parkford, Vivant, magician Justin Willman, tennis icon John McEnroe and ’80s rocker Patty Smyth, and a few special surprise guests.

Tickets for the event go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, March 8 at Livenation.com. All proceeds will benefit the Sweet Stuff Foundation, the non-profit created by the Homme family in 2013 to assist career musicians, recording engineers and their families struggling with illness and disability.

Last year, Queens of the Stone Age began its first tour in five years to promote their eighth studio album, “In Times New Roman…” which competed for two awards in the 66th Annual Grammy Awards in February at Crypto.com Area in Los Angeles.
