About: Conrad Loddiges - a London Plantsman who imported and cultivated plants from all over the world. These plates were made to illustrate his catalogue, which was published in 20 parts containing 2000 hand colored engravings, from 1817 to 1833. The engravings were done by George Cooke after paintings by Loddiges family members.

Condition: These images are not retouched and are a very accurate representation of the actual print. Strong plate marks, and bright original color, some foxing and staining. All imperfections visible in image.
