100 Pcs (FL135) Pearl Yarrow Flower Seeds- The Pearl Superior Flower-Perry's White-ACHILLEA PTARMICA
Achillea ptarmica, the sneezewort, sneezeweed, bastard pellitory, European pellitory, fair-maid-of-France, goose tongue, sneezewort yarrow, wild pellitory, or white tansy, is a European species of herbaceous perennial flowering plant in the genus Achillea.
Scientific name: Achillea ptarmica
Yarrow (Achillea Ptarmica Pearl) - Also grow from Yarrow seeds, this perennial looks different than other Yarrow varieties. Known as Pearl Yarrow, Sneezewort Yarrow or simply Sneezewort, this plant features pure white 3/4 inch double pompom blooms that rise above shiny green foliage. The foliage of Pearl Yarrow is not the typical fern-like deeply cut leaves that are on most Yarrow plants. Pearl Yarrow leaves are lance-shaped and shiny. This Yarrow looks lovely growing in the flower garden, and they are excellent as dried or cut flowers and are very useful in arrangements.
This Yarrow plant tolerates a wide range of conditions. It handles the summer heat and humidity, and it grows vigorously in poor, dry soil locations where other plants fail. Yarrow plant care includes deadheading the spent blooms to encourage continuous blooming. Separate clumps every 3 - 4 years to keep plants healthy.
Pearl Yarrow flower seeds takes 90 days from planting to blooming. Sow Yarrow seeds indoors 6 - 8 weeks before frost season ends. Use starter trays or small pots. Press Sneezewort seeds into the soil but do not cover. Light aids germination. Keep the flower seeds moist until germination. Or, after frost danger has passed, directly sow Yarrow flower seeds outdoors in prepared soil. Press herb seeds into the soil and space 24 inches apart as it will spread fairly rapidly.
