These ferns grow to approximately 20+ inches tall. Primitive plants, Ferns species have stood the test of time and will make a wonderful addition to any garden. Ostrich ferns add height and make a bold accent for other plants in your shade garden. This beautiful shady garden fern is recognized as a must have for naturalistic/woodland garden enthusiasts.

Spores are the equivalent of seeds for ferns. Easy to start, just fill a shallow tray with fresh potting mix, and moisten thoroughly and firm to a even/level ground. Then gently spread the spores evenly on top and mist them. With that done just cover the tray with glass or clear plastic and set in a warm place. Check periodically to make sure they are still moist. In a month or so you too will have itty bitty baby Fern plants. Keep misting them until they get a few inches tall.

These little beauties will certainly brighten up any shady garden spot.
