A tough long flowering native perennial plant for fairly dry areas that takes little care or maintenance once established. Prefers full sun to partial shade. Can tolerate low water and some drought. Mountain mint is not like other mints in that it does not spread. Its more of a clump forming plant and it grows quite tall, up to 4 feet in height and is very long flowering. Lovely mint scented foliage can be used instead of some mints in cooking. Easy to grow. Hardy to zone 5 some report zone 4. Butterflies and bees love the flowers and the deer and rabbits don't eat it.

No. Phytosanitary certificates are issued by the Department of Agriculture for each individual order and cost about $150.00 for each order. That is what they would charge us so would be passed to the buyer. This is a prohibitive amount when most customers only want a few packets of seeds so its not worth our while having our farm certified to allow them to be issued for us.
