Care
A Camellia prefers a slightly acidic soil, preferably rich in humus. During the summer it is important to keep the soil around the plant well moist. The plant prefers to be in partial shade. Furthermore, the Camellia does not grow quickly, usually about 15-20 cm per year. Therefore, especially in the beginning, it is not necessary to prune the plant regularly. However, it is important to remove spent branches and spent flowers.
