More information

Hydrangea arborescens 'Strong Annabelle' is an immensely popular Hydrangea with beautiful white flowers. Hydrangea arborescens (Latin name for Hydrangea) is native to North America and is a strong, deciduous shrub. The plant is very popular for its spectacular white flowers that grow to about the size of a football. The Strong Annabelle is a stronger variant of the common Hydrangea Annabelle and in rainy and windy conditions, will stay upright better due to sturdier stems. The Strong Annabelle grows about 120 to 150 cm high and has a long flowering period from July to September.

Care
Hydrangeas do not like drought and need quite a bit of water especially in the summer. It is best to give the hydrangea a large amount of water at once. The plant can be planted from March to mid-October, both in the open ground and in an ornamental pot. When planting, keep a distance of 75 cm between plants. The plant is best pruned in March. The harder you prune back the Strong Annabelle, the larger the flowers become.

Size
The plants have a height of 30-40cm upon delivery, measured including the nursery pot. The plants are supplied in a nursery pot with a diameter of 19cm.
