Phlox paniculata 'Windsor'

Perennial or border phlox, Phlox paniculata, is a tall-growing phlox native to the USA, typically with pink flowers. However there are many garden-worthy cultivars available in a range of heights and with different coloured flowers, making them a popular stalwart of the traditional border.

Perennial phlox is renowned for its colourful flowers with a sweet, honey-like fragrance. It’s an ideal choice for the middle of a border, and thrives in rich, moist soil in light shade. It's extremely attractive to butterflies, moths and other pollinators.

Phlox paniculata 'Windsor' is a tall-growing phlox, with narrow, dark green leaves and fragrant, rose-pink flowers with a darker pink eye. It looks fantastic in a mixed herbaceous border, and is ideally grown near a path or patio, where its fragrance can be appreciated. For best results, grow in moist soil, in partial shade. ‘Windsor’ makes an excellent cut flower.
