Product Description
Aster alpinus 'Dark Beauty' is a beautiful variety of Aster that produces striking violet blue petals that each surround a sunny yellow centre. These cheerful flowers bloom from July through to October and thrive in direct sun or partial shade. Growing at a glance…
Plant from March-May for summer varieties, and from September for autumn flowering varieties. Position somewhere semi-shaded, like under a tree or shrub. Dig a generous hole to house the root, adding some grit to the bottom of the hole to aid drainage. Add the module to the hole and fill the edges with soil, firming it down so it's nice and snug. Water well once planted, ensuring their soil stays moist - especially through prolonged drought. Leave to set seed once they've finished flowering or cut them right back if you don't want them to do this.
