Our small park in Bhalswa was once a dumping ground for municipal and construction waste. Today, it stands as a vibrant urban oasis, a testament to what a united community can achieve. ✅ Community-Initiated Cleanup: Our journey began with a collective effort to reclaim our park. We ensured that waste reached its rightful place, setting the stage for transformation. ✅ The Power of Inert Bricks: We introduced a game-changer - inert bricks. Each brick fixes 2.5kg of legacy waste, reducing landfill stress and contributing to a sustainable future. ✅ Raised Garden Beds: With 1000 inert bricks, we created charming raised garden beds that merge nature with sustainability. ✅ Multipurpose Filler Wall: This wall not only serves as public seating but also tackles construction waste, providing both function and purpose. ✅ Mosaic Magic: Salvaged tiles, destined for dumpsites, found a new home in our park. They bring beauty and resilience to our space. ✅ A Lush Community Haven: Our park is now a lush oasis for the community, offering comfortable seating amidst vibrant gardens.
