In late summer, showy, nodding, pale-yellow flowers rise above the large palmate light-green leaves of this herbaceous perennial.  

Growing to be 3 – 4 feet tall and 2 ½ inches wide, this plant is more uncommon but it is very beautiful when it flowers. It thrives in moist, acidic soil and partial shade.
