Fernando Torres and Alvaro Arbeloa were teammates at Liverpool once upon a time, but there was no love lost as the pair squared up - literally - in their current roles as youth coaches at Atletico and Real Madrid respectively.
Atletico Madrid's Juvenil Division de Honor coach, Torres, was sent off in extra time in the second leg of the Champions Cup quarter-final against Real Madrid for protesting to the referee and pushing Real Madrid coach Arbeloa. The Madrid fans then serenaded him off with insults and provocations to which Torres eventually responded.
Tense encounter
After levelling the tie with the score 0-2 at the end of normal time, Los Rojiblancos saw how Madrid came back to take the lead in the tie in extra time, levelling the match at 2-2. Liverpool icon Torres protested angrily after the home side's second goal and was sent off after pushing Arbeloa in the technical area.
Several Madrid fans reproached him for his attitude and that of his players for not having kicked the ball out in a previous play, and after some insults and provocations, the coach lost his temper, calling one fan a "clown" and summoning him off the pitch.
