The renowned actress, who starred in the highly successful TV show 'Baywatch', officially acknowledged that she already has the OK to adopt her new identity after having submitted the official request some time ago to change her birth name to her stage name.
TMZ confirmed the news and revealed that they have the official documents of this change and that, according to sources close to the actress, the change of identity is not for any special reason, but for a change that the actress had been thinking about for quite some time and that now they just gave her the authorization from the department that manages this type of requests.
Her birth name is Tara Leigh Patrick and Carmen Electra 'appeared' thanks to the fact that Prince baptized her that way once she had applied when the musician was selecting artists for a job, which in the end she could not get into because she did not pass the selection.
