Description Big deep-purple flowers have a flag of bright yellow at the base of the petals. Blooms rise above the narrow green foliage on stiff stems - a great pick for cut flower arrangements. Excellent near water features, in damp borders, at the edge of ponds or streams, or even in pots plunged halfway to the rim in water gardens. An herbaceous perennial.
