Pope Francis signed up for the next 2016 World Youth Day on Sunday — using a tablet computer.
The Pope used the tablet, becoming the first person to complete the online registration for the event next year in Poland, as he head the traditional Angelus prayer from the window of the Apostolic palace in Saint Peter's Square at the Vatican.

Francis was joined by two young people as he invited the world's Roman Catholic youth to join him in Krakow.
The young man and young woman joined Francis in prayer for the release of the Rev. Paolo Dall'Oglio, kidnapped two years ago in Syria as well as for the release of Orthodox bishops being held "and all the other people in conflict zones who have been kidnapped."
