Achillea millefolium “Cerise Queen”

Achillea millefolium (Yarrow) “Cerise Queen” is a wonderful plant for filling large areas and extending bloom time. The blooms fade over time to give a patchwork look of varying shades of pink from magenta to pale pink. This species grows to 30 inches in height and spreads to 30 inches. It blooms from mid to late summer. There are many varietals of Achillea millefolium and this has proven , over the last 20 years, to be the hardiest in interior Alaska.
